BIOCLAVE ™ RESEARCH AUTOCLAVES

BIOCLAVE ™ RESEARCH AUTOCLAVES

  • Designed specifically for the sterilization of laboratory research tools
  • Fully automatic operation - just press start
  • Integrated water tank - no external connection required
  • 8L, 16L and 28L models
  • All models are small enough for benchtop use

Despite the space-saving exterior dimensions of bioclaves, stainless steel chambers are surprisingly large and can hold a variety of liquids, media, instruments, glassware, plastics, and other common research laboratory items.  Available in 8L, 16L and 28L chamber volumes, these benchtop models include a mechanical and electrical safety interlock that prevents the door from opening until the pressure has reached zero PSI.
With a large digital LCD display and fully automatic operation, all segments of the cycle (filling, sterilizing, discharging and drying) begin and end with a simple push of the start button.  An optional mini thermal printer is also available to provide a record of sterilization parameters and a USB stick can be used to save the parameters and transfer them to a PC.
The 8 liter BioClave Mini is preprogrammed to meet basic sterilization needs.  The temperature can be selected at 121 ° C or 134 ° C, and the sterilization time is fully adjustable.  The economical BioClave Mini is the ideal choice wherever benchtop sterilization is required and space is at a premium.
The BioClave 16L and 28L models offer preset cycle options (standard programs), for use with liquids, packaged research instruments or unpackaged plastic instruments / items.  An additional option "  Drying only  Is also available to add extra drying time at the end of a cycle.  For special applications, requiring variations in cycle parameters, all settings are fully adjustable.
The Bioclave 28L has an increased chamber size with a diameter of 32 cm.  With this larger internal chamber, the BioClave 28 is our only model capable of sterilizing 1 and 2 liter bottles (and bottles).  Despite the increase in chamber size, the unit is still relatively compact, suitable for benchtop use.
