The myBlock series from Benchmark is a product line “  new generation  Which has several major advantages over traditional dry baths. They are the first digital dry baths to include advanced microprocessor controls, timed or continuous operation and a removable hinged cover. Additionally, an optional external temperature feedback probe can be positioned directly inside a sample tube, providing real-time control and monitoring of the actual sample temperature.

The transparent cover of the myBlock helps promote better uniformity and minimize temperature stratification in the block by maintaining an envelope layer of hot air. It also helps reduce energy consumption by minimizing heat loss to the environment. The hinged cover can be flipped open (at the back), or
easily removed (lifted) to accommodate larger tubes.

Single Block and Double Block models can be ordered in a configuration that includes our unique Quick-Flip ™ blocks. These universal blocks accept 0.5-2.0ml tubes and, with just a quick flip on the other side, accommodate 0.2ml tubes, PCR bands or (in the double block model only) a PCR plate. Other blocks are available for tubes up to 50ml.
