RNA detection and differentiation kit  SARS-CoV-2 and Influenza A / B  in RT-PCR
 ID ™ SARS-CoV2 / Influenza Triplex   is a kit of  detection  by RT-qPCR, ready to use, to specifically amplify the viral RNAs of  SARS-CoV-2   and  Influenza A / B   after extraction from patient samples. This test helps differentiate seasonal influenza from SARS-CoV-2 infection.
 This qualitative triplex system   allows, for each sample, the specific and simultaneous amplification of the target RNAs (targets  SARS-CoV-2  and  Influenza A / B) as well as endogenous internal control.
 A double detection system targeting two specific sequences of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, one encoding the core protein (N) and one encoding the RNA polymerase (RdRp), allows a high level of specificity.
 A dual detection system targeting a specific sequence of the Influenza A virus encoding the matrix protein (MP), and a specific sequence of the Influenza B virus encoding the non-structural proteins (NSP), allows the simultaneous detection of influenza A viruses and B.
 Exclusivity  : A  positive control  extraction  (PEC) validates the extraction, reverse transcription and amplification processes. a  endogenous internal control, corresponding to a human gene, makes it possible to guarantee the presence of the sample, the absence of false negative results and of PCR inhibitors.
 This kit is available for diagnostic purposes (CE-IVD).  It is compatible with the following instruments: LightCycler 96, LightCycler 480 II (Roche Life Science), CFX-96 Real time PCR (Bio-Rad), ABI ™ 7500, QuantStudio ™ 5 (Thermo Fisher),  QuantStudio ™  7  (Thermo Fisher),  Rotor-Gene Q and AriaMx Real time PCR.
